Project: Villa G.
This is a 3 floors villa that aims to mix contemporary shapes and luxury furniture. The architecture is made of the union of simple white or light grey volumes and black shelters. Two big walls cut the building giving it the two most important directions. They are covered with a gress like marble tiles. Glazed surfaces open the building to the surrounding, giving it a strong relationship with the outside. Gardens a pool and some open air living spaces complete the project.
Particular attention is given at the relationship between the architecture and the climate conditions. Glazed surfaces looking to the south are protected by the black shelters from the hot temperature of the summer.
During the winter, the sun is lower and can come acros the glass, inside the spaces. The fresh air come inside the building and goes away taking advantage of the patio positioned in the centre of the plan, where is place a tree.
The patio element is interesting both in its enlighting and climatic behaviour. In the house is also applied the rain recycling, used for its big garden.
